Our big question is: How can we make a boat that floats?

Students: Year two students investigate what makes a boat float; firstly they experiment with different materials that float and sink. Students then brainstorm on wordle what they think a boat needs in order for it to float. Students will use the resources page to research about boats. In groups, they will then make their own boat out of a specific material.Students then upload the photos taken by the teacher to the Inquiry Page and to prezi so they can present this to their parents.

Teachers guide the students when adding things to the wiki, Teacher will also be providing the information for the students to research on this wiki site.
